Pipelines pagination

By default, GET requests return 20 results at a time because the API results are paginated.

List project pipelines

iid in response introduced in GitLab 14.6.

name in response introduced in GitLab 15.11 with a flag named pipeline_name_in_api. Disabled by default.

name in request introduced in 15.11 with a flag named pipeline_name_search. Disabled by default.

name in response generally available in GitLab 16.3. Feature flag pipeline_name_in_api removed.

FLAG: On self-managed GitLab, by default the name field in a request is ignored. To make it available, an administrator can enable the feature flag named pipeline_name_search. On GitLab.com, this feature is available.

List pipelines in a project. Child pipelines are not included in the results, but you can get child pipeline individually.

GET /projects/:id/pipelines

`source`	string	No	In GitLab 14.3 and later, how the pipeline was triggered, one of: `api`, `chat`, `external`, `external_pull_request_event`, `merge_request_event`, `ondemand_dast_scan`, `ondemand_dast_validation`, `parent_pipeline`, `pipeline`, `push`, `schedule`, `security_orchestration_policy`, `trigger`, `web`, or `webide`.
`status`	string	No	The status of pipelines, one of: `created`, `waiting_for_resource`, `preparing`, `pending`, `running`, `success`, `failed`, `canceled`, `skipped`, `manual`, `scheduled`
`updated_after`	datetime	No	Return pipelines updated after the specified date. Expected in ISO 8601 format (`2019-03-15T08:00:00Z`).
`updated_before`	datetime	No	Return pipelines updated before the specified date. Expected in ISO 8601 format (`2019-03-15T08:00:00Z`).
`username`	string	No	The username of the user who triggered pipelines
`yaml_errors`	boolean	No	Returns pipelines with invalid configurations

Get a single pipeline

Get the latest pipeline for a specific ref in a project.

Create a new pipeline

Delete a pipeline

Deleting a pipeline expires all pipeline caches, and deletes all immediately related objects, such as builds, logs, artifacts, and triggers. This action cannot be undone.

Deleting a pipeline does not automatically delete its child pipelines. See the related issue for details.

Update pipeline metadata

You can update the metadata of a pipeline. The metadata contains the name of the pipeline.
